Welcome to our Privacy Policy.

Your privacy is important to us. This Policy explains how the Drunker mobile application (com.drunker.main) collects, uses, and protects your personal information. The data controller is Drunker App OÜ (registered address: Tornimäe tn 5, Tallinn, 10145, Estonia (EE)). Privacy questions: support@drunker.app.

1. Data Collection

1.1. Data you provide directly

  • Account credentials: email or phone number, password (stored hashed).

  • Profile: name, username, date of birth, gender, bio, status, spoken languages.

  • Interests & taboos: topics selected to improve profile compatibility.

  • Social meetup and drink preferences: drink categories to improve profile compatibility.

  • Photos and videos uploaded via camera or gallery.

  • Chat messages: text, attachments, reactions.

  • Support tickets: message content, complaint reasons.ies.

1.2. Data collected automatically

  • Location: precise (GPS) and approximate (network) — for the recommendation feed and city filter. Requires explicit user consent. Can be disabled in OS settings.

  • Push token (FCM): for delivering notifications.

  • Technical info: device model, OS version, app version, locale, IP address.

  • Activity logs: sign-in time, in-app interactions — for diagnostics and analytics.

2. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)

We process your personal data on the following legal bases:

  • Performance of a contract — processing is necessary to provide app services (registration, recommendation feed, chat, subscriptions).

  • Legitimate interests — platform security, content moderation, fraud prevention, analytics to improve the app.

  • Consent — precise geolocation (GPS), push notifications. You may withdraw consent at any time via OS or app settings.

  • Legal obligation — retention of payment receipts for 5 years (tax law requirement), disclosure of data to law enforcement on binding legal request.

3. How We Use Your Data

  • Create and maintain your account.

  • Generate a recommendation feed based on your filters and location.

  • Deliver chat messages and push notifications.

  • Process subscription payments and premium purchases.

  • Communicate about updates, security, and support replies.

  • Combat fraud, spam, and community guideline violations.

  • Improve the product through aggregated analytics.

  • Comply with legal obligations.

4. Who Has Access to Your Data

4.1. Other users

Your profile, photos, bio, interests, and city (no precise coordinates) are visible to other users in the recommendation feed. Personal credentials (email, phone) are never shown.

4.2. Sub-processors

  • Google Firebase (Cloud Messaging, Analytics) — push notifications and analytics.

  • Google Play Billing / Apple In-App Purchases — subscription processing. We never store your payment card details.

  • Amazon Web Services (AWS) — backend, database, and media storage (S3).

  • Sentry — error logging (no personal data).

4.3. Legal requests

We disclose data to authorities only on a binding legal request and only the minimum required.

5. Content Moderation

Drunker App OÜ applies both automated and manual content moderation to keep the community safe:

  • Automated moderation — photos and texts are checked upon publication.

  • Manual moderation — user reports are reviewed by the Drunker App OÜ team.

  • Content removal — unacceptable content is removed without prior notice.

  • Account suspension — temporary or permanent, depending on the violation.

To file a complaint, use the "Report" button on another user's profile or in chat.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

  • Active profiles: until account deletion.

  • Chats: up to 30 days after match deletion.

  • Activity logs: 90 days.

  • Payment receipts: 5 years (tax law).lation.

Account deletion (Settings → Delete account) makes the profile invisible immediately and anonymizes email/phone/username at once. Full removal from backups completes within 90 days.

7. International Data Transfers

Due to our use of AWS and Google Firebase infrastructure, your data may be processed outside the European Economic Area (EEA). In such cases, transfers are made using Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) pursuant to European Commission decisions, ensuring an equivalent level of data protection.

8. Security

We use HTTPS for all connections, password hashing (bcrypt), JWT sessions, restricted database access, and monitoring. No system is 100% secure — please report suspected breaches to support@drunker.app.

9. Age Restriction

The app is for users 18 years and older. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you find that a minor has registered, please contact us at support@drunker.app and the account will be removed immediately.

10. Responsible Use and Alcohol Disclaimer

Drunker is a social meetup platform for adults. Please note:

  • The app does not sell alcohol and does not organize the sale or delivery of alcohol.

  • The app does not encourage excessive alcohol consumption.

  • The app does not organize and is not a party to any physical meetings between users.

  • Decisions regarding meetups, alcohol consumption, and all related responsibility rest solely with the users themselves.

  • Drunker App OÜ is not liable for the actions, decisions, or consequences of interactions between users outside the app.

  • Users must comply with local laws and regulations regarding alcohol consumption in their country or region.n.

11. Offline Meeting Safety

Drunker App OÜ cares about the safety of its users. We recommend:

  • Meet new acquaintances only in public places.

  • Let trusted people know about your plans.

  • Do not share personal financial or address information until trust is established.

We cannot verify the accuracy of all information in user profiles. Each user bears personal responsibility for their own safety during offline meetings. Block and report features are available in the app. Suspicious behaviour results in account suspension.

12. Your Rights (GDPR)

If you are in the EU, UK, or Ukraine, you have the following rights:

  • Request a copy of your data.

  • Correct inaccurate data (via profile or support).

  • Delete your account at any time without justification.

  • Restrict or object to processing.

  • Withdraw consent (geolocation, push notifications) via OS settings.

  • Lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority (Estonia: Andmekaitse Inspektsioon).

Send rights requests to support@drunker.app. We respond within 30 days.

13. Changes

We may update this Policy. Material changes will be announced in-app or by email. The current version is always available at this URL.
